Microsoft is releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10130 for PCs to the Slow Ring. Build 10130 was already released last month to the fast ring and is in use since 29th May. Looking at the response of its users, its proven to be stable enough to now release it to Slow ring. Microsoft is publishing it with few fixes for the top issues.

Last week, Microsoft had also released ISOs for Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10130. At that time Microsoft had said that its not releasing this Build 10130 to the Slow ring due to several bugs. But had hinted that once these bugs are fixed they’ll consider releasing it to Slow ring too. Today they released it to Slow ring along with few fixes.
Fixes available for build 10130:
- KB3070365: This fixes the issue of non-responsive fly-outs when one clicks on taskbar icons including Start, Cortana, Network, Battery, Action Center.
- KB3069069: This fixes the issue of audio playback lost after the upgrade in some hardware configurations. Please note that those which fail to operate in multichannel mode should set the default audio format to Stereo.
- KB3070677: This fixes the issue of Windows update not detecting new builds when one is running the ‘Core’ edition of Windows 10 Insider Preview.
- KB3070982: This issue fixes loss of audio after upgrade in some hardware configuration. This is dynamic update.
Announcing about the Slow Ring release, Microsoft’s Gabe Aul cautioned Surface 3 users. He said :
There is a known issue with the Surface 3 that prevents the Windows 10 Insider Preview from installing – we suggest holding off until we fix this issue.
Those users getting error code of 0x80246017 trying to install this build from Windows Update can get the ISO.
