You mean, the entire world except for you? Sometimes the problem isn’t everyone else. Sometime the problem is you.
This is long overdue. XP’s time has long since passed. Your nostalgic attachment to it doesn’t mean it isn’t obsolete.

The trouble with Linux is you cannot run Windows games or software. There is company selling Linux on a flash drive(thumb drive) for $25. The older machines don’t boot off a flash drive. There is learning curve with Linux because you are running a different OS. If you edit a letter from the office on Linux, the format will be blown away.

If your machine can support MSWin XP or Vista, it can support Linux just as well (probably better). Consider it an upgrade that is actually an UPgrade.
