Hi my name is Mark Hartley and I tried to invent the karaoke shades back in 2008, which are based on the same principle as Google glasses but without GPS and all the other fancy bits. I just simply didn't have the funds to carry it through. All I was looking to do was have a basic looking pair of sun glasses with the built in technology of a screen in one of the lenses that was like having an extended screen from your pc to an external monitor. I work as a mobile DJ and sometimes do karaoke evenings, sometimes setting up my external monitor is situated on my speaker to the left and when people sing, their not facing the audience. I wished I could buy a pair of cordless Bluetooth karaoke shades to replace the TFT monitor I carry around. now that this technology is available, would you please manufacture the DJ Karaoke Shades. I would be very happy to buy a pair. if you need any more information on the subject, please contact me on markvideoguy@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks

I've dreamt of these for 25 years. Just having the ability to record what my eyes see without a big camera or obvious, intrusive ccd would be great. The HUD is gravy.

Exactly. That would mean supplying your GPS coordinates to Google that already knows too much about its users. In other words, Google will be spying all the time one is wearing those glasses. But then, people love technology. So they'll be a success sooner or later, from Google or from any other service provider.
