I own a Surface Pro 3 i7. It works hard!
Yesterday (Wed 13th) I began installing the 11 updates to Win 8.1 only to find that the first thing was to begin downloading Win 10 files. Three times I had to interrupt the process and in the end I cancelled the whole show! It seems that MS are now seeking new ways of getting their half-baked new system onto all eligible computers by stealth and subterfuge. I say half-baked because I have already had a taste of W10 in October and it was not something I want to repeat. I spent three days trying to get Chrome and many other programs satisfactorily working to no avail. I will NOT join until I really have to, and only when, hopefully 10 will be stable. I will not be bullied into it!!!!! Meanwhile it seems that the 8.1 update somehow got itself installed.
