To me, it seems operating a botnet of intentional harm then crying “but I’m not the one who built it, just used it knowing its effects” would be as hollow as saying “I just shoot people with guns, I don’t build them, so where’s my felony?”. Similar-sounding to teens buying small substances from much larger orgs for their own use, still, this kind of use puts one right up with the big operators and making it riskier to be Lizard’s customers make sense here.
