Of course, the video and it's description would make more sense if there are certain measures in place for relaxation of visa regulations between the two countries which the video fails to show. Only then you can show up at your loved ones doors as a birthday surprise. Nevertheless, it's a good attempt by google in nudging the governments to start and engage in a dialogue. I am referring to the link provided by you.
