Got to agree with Joe L. and Caleb. If Microsoft spent more than 1 hour or more than $100, it was a waste of time and money. The new logo is drab and boring.

I think it looks washed out and lifeless. If kept in these proportions it will consume a lot of desk space. If reduce to a size similar to existing logo it will be completely unnoticable (is there such a word? It describes my meaning though )

With the existing logo one glance and you know what you have, it is something that has “life”. The new one it looks temporary, a place filler and it is not something I would identify with. They will also have to keep changing it for future versions of Windows.

(On a side note to Andy)
I will get that item put up into the forums over the next week. There was a long internet outage for me this week and I have been busy since then.

it basically a mixture of the first logo and the 90’s version so technically you can’t start talking trash about microsoft taking inspiration from themselves from something they had always had all along
