Call Of Duty was Treyarch’s first production and Activision’s first publication in the popular first-person shooting game series. It was initially launched on the Xbox 360 console back in 2006. The game is set in World War II, modeled after the famous Normandy shootout. COD 3 is based in the village of Chambois in France.

The game was hugely praised at launch time and was one of the biggest blockbusters of the entire year. Critical appraisal was pointed towards its brilliant gameplay, which is a marvel to experience even today.

This news will bring joy to a lot of Gen-Y gamers who enjoyed the game initially on the Xbox 360 but now own the next-gen model. You can buy the digital copy of Call Of Duty 3 on the Xbox Store online for a price of $19.99 and also get a physical copy from leading online retailers. Although if you already own it in your Xbox 360 library, you should automatically be able to view it now on your Xbox One library, without any extra cost!

The next game in the COD series is Infinite Warfare, which will be launched in the first week of November 2016. It will be launched for all next-gen consoles including Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Wii.
