Windows Server 2025 comes with great developments like Hotpatching for everyone, next-generation Active Directory and SMB, Mission Critical Data & Storage, Hyper-V & AI, etc. To get these features and use Windows Server 2025, you have to get the newly released Windows Server 2025 ISO file.
Microsoft has made Windows Server Insider Build (v.26040) with the updates for Insiders. If you haven’t joined the Windows Server Insider Program, you cannot use it yet. To register for Windows Server Insider, go to the Windows Insider Program page and sign in with your Microsoft account, work account, or Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador account in the Microsoft Entra ID.
Once you have joined the Windows Server Insider program, go to the Windows Insider Preview Downloads page. Sign in with your account that is registered to the Insider program. Click on the drop-down button under Microsoft Server Previews and select Windows Server VNext Preview ISO (Canary) – Build 26040 and click Confirm. Select your preferred language and click Confirm. You can see the Download Now button. Click on it to download the Windows Server 2025 ISO file.
