After more than 6 months of delay, since its announcement, Nokia finally made its Drive+ app available to Windows Phone users in major territories like the US, UK and Canada. Earlier, the service of the app extended just to Lumia range of Windows Phone handsets.
A lot of Windows Phone smartphone users had expressed disappointment earlier, owing to the lack of free voice-guided directions and exclusivity of the Nokia Drive+ Beta turn-by-turn navigation app for just Lumia handsets. Most native Windows Phone 8 maps apps were not up to mark.
The app is still in the Beta stage, but has fine-tuned customer experience. Users get access to full turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation, offline maps, speed limit warnings, and various day and night modes.
Nokia has even included a “feedback” tab, which will take into account experiences from the app users and members of the Windows Phone community.
Nokia Drive+ Beta turn-by-turn navigation app features:
- Full offline support for 89 countries across the world
- Turn-by-turn, voice guided navigation with spoken street names
- Local speed limit information with audible speed limit warnings
- 60+ different voice guidance packs available for FREE download
So now, put all your travel related worries to rest, move freely and reach your destination safely with Drive+ Beta turn-by-turn navigation app from Nokia.
