Samsung introduced a new tablet ATIV Q in London today which can run both Windows 8 as well as Android 4.2.2 based applications. This 13.3 inch latest tablet from the Smartphone king allows the users to share files between Android and Windows 8 applications. This dual-booting device from Samsung comes with a keyboard that let users operate it as a laptop too. Users can easily switch from Windows 8 to Android and vice-versa.
The news of the ATIV Q slipped out just a bit earlier than schedule, but Samsung unveiled this ‘one of its kinds’ tablet officially in its Premiere event at Earls Court in London today.

SideSync software is the highlight of this Windows 8 & Android team-up device. This software allows the users to share the data between the operating system and also to pin any of the Android apps to the Start Screen. The convertible laptop from Samsung also has its patent stylish S Pen with a sensitivity of 1,024 degrees.
Powered by Intel’s new Haswell processor, this device is expected to hoard a battery life of good hours. Samsung claims up to 9 hours of battery life which seems to be unworkable for a device with such high-resolution.
ATIV Q will have four different modes of usage – typing, writing, floating, and stand. While typing and writing are two basic modes, the floating mode brings the screen parallel to the keyboard and stand mode allows user to flip the screen at right angle to the keyboard.
The ATIV Q will expectedly launch in Q3, however there is official word from Samsung about its availability.
Samsung also unveiled ATIV Tab 3 in the event. This is a Windows 8 tablet sporting a 10.1 inch display with 1366X768 pixels resolution. Powered by Intel ATOM Z2760 CPU this tablet has a 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity.
