A new Netflix app for Windows 10 PCs and tablets will soon start rolling out, says Microsoft. In a blog post announcing the 2.5 billion visits on Windows Store, Microsoft announced this all new Netflix Universal Windows app.

We recently hit an important milestone, with 2.5 billion visits to the Windows Store since the Windows 10 launch. We’re continuing to welcome new customers to the Windows Store every day – in fact, on Black Friday, we were thrilled to see 75% of our customers were first-time Windows Store purchasers, says Microsoft in its official blogpost.
The new Netflix Universal app will soon be made available for mobile phones running Windows 10. This new Universal Windows app comes with a new interface and many new features with some major ones including the ability to pin the app to ‘Start’ and the ‘Task Bar’, Live Tile notifications, and more. The new app will let the Windows 10 PC and tablet users watch Netflix’s vast library of streaming video content. Netflix has updated the app so as to make the functionality smoother and more responsive on Windows 10.
The new stunning interface of the app brings a proper categorization and easy navigation, thereby helping you find your desired content quickly and easily. The ‘details’ page is also updated. The advanced search options and built-in Cortana will help you with suggested results for some searches.
Some other MS partners bringing universal apps to the Windows Store include Pandora, Wall Street Journal, NPR, and 1-800-Flowers – just in the last week. Uber, Shazam, TuneIn Radio, Box, and Twitter.
