Recently, i.e. on April 6th, 2017, Microsoft released the Surface Pro 4 firmware updates. The last Surface firmware updates had been released a month back, i.e. on March 8th, 2017; while the updated before tat were released almost two moths back; on January 18th, 2017. All Surface users are asked to update their devices soon, as not all devices will receive the latest Surface Pro 4 firmware updates at the same time.
Users can update their devices manually as well; by following the further process:
- Step 1: Go to Start (Windows logo), and select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update
- Step 2: Select Check for updates. Install any available updates.
- Step 3: Select Restart now if prompted.
What are the latest Surface Pro 4 firmware updates
The latest Surface Pro 4 firmware updates have some minor changes that are implemented to both Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. However, the Surface Pro 4 firmware updates are available to only the devices having the Windows 10 Creators Update. The Windows 10 Creators Update will start rolling out on April 11th, 2017.
