Windows Analytics: Update Compliance
After remaining in preview mode for a while, the final version of Update Compliance is now out for release and ready to be tested. The final development is heavily influenced by feedback from the community.
We are excited to announce the General Availability of Update Compliance, as the newest addition to Windows Analytics. With the GA release, we will continue to make Update Compliance available for all Windows 10 desktops with Pro or higher licenses.
Update Compliance is targeted to the IT pro who wants to gain a holistic view of all their Windows 10 devices – without any additional infrastructure requirements, mentioned a blog post.
Update Compliance will enable enables IT pros to do the following,
- Quickly identify devices with issues that need attention so as to make them ready for upgrade
- Monitor the progress and status of Windows 10 updates carefully to assure complete compatibility
- Gain insights from any instances flagged by Windows 10 Defender Antivirus during its use.
While the current release of Update Compliance just provides general availability of the features that Microsoft had earlier released for public preview, it’s planning to make few big changes in the upcoming update. Stay tuned!
