Microsoft and Samsung announced some incredible partnership at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung not only has announced a Windows Laptop — Galaxy Book S, but also spoke about the significant collaboration is the availability of Microsoft apps on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Laptops.

Connect with Windows 10 PC
The first thing that was promoted at the event was the Phone Feature. It allows one to access messages, photos, notifications from apps, and so on. Samsung Note will be the first to have the Phone screen feature. You will need a Windows 10 PC with May 2019 update and Note 10 connected to the same WiFi Network.
It will allow one to access Android phone’s apps, right from your PC. You can still use your keyboard and mouse, or touch screen. One can also use multi-touch gestures such as pinch to zoom, rotate, or swipe from their PC’s touchscreen while using Phone screen.
OneDrive Native integration
OneDrive will be natively integrated into the Samsung Gallery app. It will offer automatic photo syncing, enabling new protection and cross-device experiences. The new security feature will enable another layer which can be unlocked using fingerprint, face, or a PIN. The files like IDs, travel docs, etc. will be stored in Personal Vault
Outlook and Office App integration
When using Outlook, Samsung customers can hover a contact in the email (using S Pen) to get detailed information. You can view tap to chat, call, or email all from the inbox. Additionally, Outlook has expanded support for the Samsung ecosystem. The same goes for Office apps like Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
Trade-in older devices
Beginning Aug. 23, you can trade-in select mobile devices at your local Microsoft Store and receive up to $650 in trade-in value to use towards the purchase of a new Galaxy Note 10.
In the past few years, Microsoft has worked hard to bring their apps to all the platforms – its part of their Mobile strategy to keep pushing ahead.
