Microsoft started testing out beta channel first with insiders, but now that it is available for everyone, you should give it a try. Beta is the final preview channel which will come online before the release of the next version of Microsoft Edge. Major updates for Edge can be expected roughly every six weeks.
The Beta channel is the most stable Microsoft Edge preview experience. With major updates every 6 weeks, each release incorporates learnings and improvements from our Dev and Canary builds.
Microsoft Edge Beta supports 14 languages and features that have already cleared quality testing in Dev and Canary. It includes a new tab page, dark theme, and extensions. It also supports tracking prevention and Collections, experimental flags.
Once installed, you can import bookmarks, favorites, passwords, payment info, and browsing history into Microsoft Edge. It will help you quickly get started with Edge.
Lastly, you can keep all three builds installed on your computer if you are serious about testing the Edge browser.
