Azure Government Top Secret is now available for general use
According to Microsoft, this announcement and the newly added features to Azure’s Top Secret is a reflection of their strong commitment to national security. The Azure Government Secret now has 73 services, all of which are directed towards processing national security workloads at a quicker speed.
Across data classifications, mission owners are working to make sense of massive volumes of data—reshaping how information is gathered, stored, processed, and shared to unlock the power of data to inform decision making. Azure’s data capabilities are limitless from ground to cloud, enabling customers to synthesize data no matter where that data is located and no matter where insights are needed, including data at the far edge, in disconnected or intermittent scenarios, or data fed in by satellite or submarine. – excerpts from Azure’s official blog post
There are a variety of services now at the disposal of mission owners like Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel. There are a couple more things that Azure is working on to help make data handling better like their solution accelerator Multi-INT enabled discovery (MINTED). MINTED takes raw data and makes it more useful by deploying machine learning techniques.
To provide scope for interoperation modifications so as to better organize their information systems, Azure provides an open platform to help developers build with the language(s) and tools of their choice and develop tools most suitable for their respective needs.
Larry Katzman, Chief Executive Officer, and President, Applied Information Sciences says,
“In our work supporting mission-critical customers who want to innovate faster, Azure provides several key advantages. It’s flexible, truly hybrid, and has the openness and extensibility that allows for developer choice. This enables customers to benefit from the latest commercial innovations to derive insights from their most sensitive data”
