Extra SkyDrive Space & Skype Group Video Calling for Outlook.com Users
Yes, it seems Microsoft has decided to offer Outlook.com web mail service users a couple of gifts as a celebration of Outlook.com anniversary. One is a promo code for SkyDrive that gives users 3GB of extra free space on the cloud data storage service for a year. This means the users get 10 GB of free space on SkyDrive in total.
The other gift sent is a code for Skype that offers one free month of Skype group video calling for up to 10 people. There is a limit of 100 hours for this free month with no more than 10 hours per day and a limit of 4 hours per session. Group video calling is part of Skype’s premium subscription service!
As per the data available with Microsoft, there are currently over 400 million accounts. Since its inception, many changes have been made to the service and some improvements have been accommodated or removed. For instance, few days ago the service decided to discontinue its support for messaging history feature.
