YouTube has introduced a new video tool that allows users to create short videos on-the-go. Of late, businesses around the world have transitioned to work-from-home arrangements and this has also led many companies to shift their focus towards videos as a way of interacting with their customers. That’s why YouTube has come up with an idea of a YouTube Video Builder, which is currently in beta.
YouTube Video Builder launched
In his recent blog post, Ali Miller Director – Product Management of YouTube Ads, wrote:
“Given the current environment, many businesses are shifting how they’re communicating and interacting with their customers and are turning to videos to make and maintain connections.”
YouTube Video Builder is aimed at YouTube influencers and businesses with a lack of resources to create videos from scratch. The tool is available free and it allows users to animate static media content like images, text, and logos. It also enables access to YouTube’s royalty-free music library.
YouTube Video Builder tool also includes a variety of ready-made templates that fit different themes, goals, messages, among other things. In addition to customizing fonts and colors, companies can generate 6-second or 15-second video clips.
YouTube Video Builder is currently available in English only. However, it supports various languages when creating a video.
Those interested in getting their hands on YouTube’s Video Builder, they need to fill out a simple sign-up form to obtain beta access to the service. Although YouTube has promised to process applications as soon as possible depending on the service capacity and availability, most applications get processed within five business days.
How to sign up for YouTube Video Builder
If you are looking to sign up for YouTube Video Builder, all you need to do is navigate to services.google.com/fb/forms/videobuilderbeta.
Enter the email address associated with your YouTube channel. Entering the email address is mandatory. Further, you can also input your Google Ads Customer ID that is optional.
Once you have received the access to YouTube Video Builder, you need to navigate to director.youtube.com/u/0/videobuilder to start creating short video Ads.
