Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Program
Microsoft is seeking top innovative educators who are using Microsoft technologies to engage students and their peers in innovative ways to positively impact learning. Microsoft is particularly interested in educators who are actively mentoring others, active in social media and have a passion for and a desire to share their experiences.
If you are admitted to the program, as an MIE Expet, you will be able to share your methods and experiences with other educators. The idea being to spread knowledge about how to use technology effectively in the field of education. You will also get the opportunity to work together in a group to share best practices and promote ideas to innovate.
Like most of Microsoft’s programs this too is a non-paid Ambassador program, which offers benefits like getting a Windows 8 tablet with Microsoft Office 365 and the opportunity to participate in the Microsoft in Education Global Forum in March 2015.
To be eligible, you need to basically be an educator who is using technology in education and an enthusiast of Microsoft.
Microsoft is currently inviting educators from the all over the UK to apply for the MIE Expert program. Head over to the Microsoft UK Schools Blog for more details.
