Microsoft has announced the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Linux on Azure Junction. The non-profit organization has been created in tandem with the Linux foundation and will cater for the mass innovation needs thanks to its open source approach, further it also signifies a new initiative concerned with Microsoft and the open source community.
Microsoft Certification for Azure on Linux
Any individual passing the Microsoft Exam 70-533 and the Linux Foundation certified System Administrator (LFCS) will be awarded the certification from Microsoft. The certification is already available starting from Dec 9 2015.
In a nutshell both the Linux Administration and the Microsoft Azure implementation exams will gauge the candidatures ability to design, implement and maintain complex cloud-enabled Linux solutions which will further help in leveraging the Microsoft Azures extensive features and capabilities.
