Microsoft has announced a new Windows 10 Pro Education edition along with its Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The education-specific default settings of this new version include removal of Cortana, Windows Store suggestions and basic tips and tricks of Windows 10.
Windows 10 Pro Education
Every device with pre-installed version 1607 and purchased with discounted k-12 academic licenses from OEM partners will get the Windows 10 Pro Education version. Existing Windows 10 Pro devices purchased with discounted k-12 academic licenses through OEM partners will automatically upgrade to the new version of Windows 10 Pro Education. Please note that the device must have the genuine OEM digital product key activated.
Fulfilling their commitment of taking the productivity, security, and privacy to the next level, Microsoft recently announced Windows 10 version 1607 (also known as the Anniversary Update) for all customers.
Microsoft says, “Windows 10, version 1607 offers a variety of new features and functionality, such as simplified provisioning with the Set up School PCs app or Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer (ICD), easier delivery of digital assessments with Take a Test, and faster log in performance for shared devices than ever before. Windows 10 Education
