Microsoft Office Preview for Android

During these 2 months of initial phase of Preview build, Microsoft received feedback from people who were trying out this Office on their Android tablets. The feedback helped Microsoft to optimize the Office experience on Android tablet users and plan for future feature updates.

Now Microsoft is expanding this preview. Microsoft Office preview for Android tablet is now open to all.

We want more feedback from more users to ensure that Office apps work well on a range of different Android tablets before launching the official apps.

Announcing this, Microsoft asked for the feedback,

We hope you will join the preview and tell us what you think. Your feedback is critical in helping us deliver world-class Office applications to Android tablets.

Anyone can now download the Word, Excel and PowerPoint preview apps from Google Play. Please note that this Preview will work on ARM-based Android tablet running KitKat or Lollipop, with a screen size between 7″ and 10.1″. So those using Intel based Android tablets will be left out for now.
