Microsoft has officially announced the availability of Office 365 and Microsoft Azure, the most trusted cloud service platforms in multiple data center locations across the United Kingdom.
Microsoft’s cloud data centers have spread across the world rapidly since October 2014, including regions like Japan, Australia, Canada and India, however, the U.K push is expected to help Microsoft empower their cloud business in the region. The new data centers will help Microsoft deploy the most trusted cloud platform and assist in running the businesses such as Government, healthcare, public sector and banking to fulfill their customer needs by adhering to Microsoft’s trusted Cloud principles of security, privacy, compliance ,transparency and availability.

Along with providing world-class data security , these new data centers will additionally focus on local data residency, replication, and disaster recovery to effectively run the business eventually paving way for newer innovations while meeting their compliance and regulatory requirements.
South London & Maudsley(SLAM) NHS Trust, Aston Martin, Capita, Rosslyn Analytics, Ministry of Defence( MoD) are a few customers to name that will be moving to Microsoft Cloud. MoD employing more than 250,000 people has cited that Microsoft’s world-class security and the value for money proposition associated with it to be the prime reasons for moving to Microsoft Cloud.

The Microsoft Cloud services are currently being offered to customers spread across 28 regions including the new multiple regional set up in the UK.
