Microsoft today rolled out the minor updates for three of its most popular games. Microsoft Mahjong apps, Minesweeper and Solitaire. The updated games are now available in the Windows Store.
The changelog for these three Windows games features a few optimizations and bug fixes. There is no further information about the update but if you already have these apps in your Windows 8 PC, you can download the updates from the Windows Store.
Updated Minesweeper includes –
- Classic gameplay
- Adjustable difficulty
- New Adventure mode.
- Xbox enabled
- Supports touch screen
Updated version of Solitaire includes-
- 5 new variations- Klondike, FreeCell, Spider, TriPeaks, and Pyramid
- New themes and deck designs
- Daily challenges
- Xbox enabled
- New game modes
Updated version of Mahjong includes-
- Beautiful imagery
- Intuitive controls
- Four levels of difficulty
- New graphics and relaxing sounds.
According to the release notes, these games will now run smoother on Windows 8 and will also be resource friendly on upcoming Windows 8.1 Enterprise edition.
The software giant will release the preview version of Windows 8.1 on June 26 in the BUILD developer conference. The final release is scheduled later this year. The Windows 8 upgrade will include many new features and a few improvements. The update will also bring some new Metro apps like Movie Moments tool and a calculator.
