Microsoft launched Wireless Display Adapter that works on Miracast technology allowing users to connect HDTV, PCs, Monitor, Projectors, Smartphones and Tablets running on any Miracast supported device. The technology supports video display resolution of 1080p and HD audio output codec H.264, which is enough to mirror the paired device as it runs on Wi-Fi direct technology.
