You can now update all your Windows Phone devices from your Windows 10 PC, thanks to the Over-the-Cable Updater Tool for the Windows 10 users. Microsoft has recently released a new tool which is actually an updater. It lets the Windows 10 users update their Windows Phone device automatically to the latest available version. “Of course we’ll continue to support the platform.. bug fixes, security updates, etc. But building new features/hw aren’t the focus” Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s vice president of Windows Experience tweeted last month.

The devices eligible for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709 include Microsoft Lumia 950/950 XL, Microsoft Lumia 650/550, Wileyfox Pro, HP Elite x3/x3 Verizon/x3 Telstra, Softbank 503LV, Alcatel IDOL 4S Pro, Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL, Alcatel IDOL 4S, MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601, Trinity NuAns Neo and VAIO Phone Biz.
