Software giant Microsoft has made available for download SkyDrive Pro sync client for Windows. This very new SkyDrive Pro Client for Windows, that allows users of SharePoint 2013 and Office 365 users to sync their files easily.
Microsoft in its official blog post said that, “This standalone client allows users of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online in Office 365 to sync their personal SkyDrive Pro and any SharePoint 2013 or Office 365 team site document libraries to their local machine for access to important content on and offline.”

SharePoint 2013 users can now install the SkyDrive Pro sync client as a standalone application without having Office 365 in their computer system. Furthermore, users can install the SkyDrive Pro Client with their running Office version like Office 2007 or Office 2010.
SkyDrive Pro is ready to use once installed on the computer system. You just need to click SYNC on the top right corner of the SkyDrive Pro Library, Office 365 team site document library or SharePoint 2013, and the program will start syncing the files across the machines.
Microsoft in its official blog post said that, if you have Office 365 Pro Plus, Office 365 Small Business Premium or Office Professional Plus 2013 on your machine, you already have the SkyDrive Pro Sync client and do not need to install it separately.
