The annual T3 Awards 2016 are currently underway in the UK and the Microsoft Surface Book just won the ‘Notebook Of The Year‘ award for this year. The awards, often referred to as the ‘Oscars Of Tech’ saw big players like Apple MacBook, Dell XPS 12 and HP Spectre x360 in the race for this prestigious award.
“A lot of eyebrows were raised, and a lot of jaws hit the floor when Microsoft launched its first own-brand laptop, and the Surface Book has impressed us enough since then to earn the Laptop of the Year Award. You can tell that this is Microsoft’s attempt to show its hardware partners how it should be done in the Windows 10 era – that clever hinge, that detachable screen… power and portability together in one complete computer. Yes, there were issues with it, but it was a brave step forward by the Redmond company, and we’re already excited about Surface Book 2,” said the judges at T3.
The T3 Awards are currently celebrating their 10th anniversary and have gained worldwide fame in a short span, mostly due to their unbiased jury selection system. Every year, winning a T3 award is one of the greatest honors that can be awarded to a gadget brand.
The Microsoft Surface Book was launched by the company’s first notebook.
