Recently, i.e. on April 6th, 2017, Microsoft released the Surface Pro 4 firmware updates. The last Surface firmware updates had been released a month back, i.e. on March 8th, 2017; while the updated before tat were released almost two moths back; on January 18th, 2017. All Surface users are asked to update their devices soon, as not all devices will receive the latest Surface Pro 4 firmware updates at the same time.
Users can update their devices manually as well; by following the further process:
- Step 1: Go to Start (Windows logo), and select Settings > Update & security > Windows Update
- Step 2: Select Check for updates. Install any available updates.
- Step 3: Select Restart now if prompted.
What are the latest Surface Pro 4 firmware updates
The latest Surface Pro 4 firmware updates have some minor changes that are implemented to both Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. However, the Surface Pro 4 firmware updates are available to only the devices having the Windows 10 Creators Update. The Windows 10 Creators Update will start rolling out on April 11th, 2017. As you know, it’s the latest Windows operating system upgrade that has several new features.
