Chrome is fast… as fast as Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8, say some. And Google wanting to make the web and everything they are associated with, faster, just made their Chrome browser 5% faster!
In the recent Chrome Stable’s updated release in late May, the browser included optimizations, that made web pages load 5% faster on an average.
A 5% improvement may not seem like much, but Google says that when you add up all the saved seconds together and consider the total usage of Chrome, it all adds up to more than 510 years of time every week, and that’s quite a bit.
