Windows 10 Anniversary Update is here and while the company is celebrating the first birthday of their greatest operating system ever, there is something more to add on. According to the stats revealed on the official Windows blog, this first year of Windows 10 recorded more than 19 billion hours of gameplay. Games were reportedly the top app downloaded from Windows Store in last one year which generated 85% of the in-app purchases and 32% of overall downloads.

In just one year Windows 10 has become one of the most-used operating systems with 44.46 percent usage. The OS is currently running on more than 350 million devices including the desktops to mobile devices, HoloLens development kits, and Xbox One Consoles.
The combination of Xbox Summer Update and Anniversary Update brings a lot more for gamers. Windows users can now buy Xbox Gold subscriptions and pre-order some interesting Windows 10 PC games from Windows Store. Also, Windows 10 Anniversary update sets the stage for Xbox games with Xbox Play Anywhere. Just install the Anniversary Update and you can use Xbox Play Anywhere.
