Windows 8 Consumer Preview Release Date – Feb 29

So, the long wait is over! Windows 8 Beta or Consumer Preview, as Microsoft prefers to call it, will be finally released at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The Mobile World Congress is mainly all about mobile devices, so it is interesting to note that Microsoft has chosen to release Windows 8 CP an this conference.

Windows 8 DP did get a mixed response – while some appreciated its new interface, others just did not like it. People will probably have to unlearn a few things about Windows and re-learn Windows 8 again – this is the feeling most Windows users have.

Let us wait and see what Windows 8 CP has to offer now!
