Microsoft has released OneNote Mobile app for Android today. OneNote Mobile gives you instant access to your Microsoft OneNote 2010 notebooks on SkyDrive.
“If you’re already using OneNote on your PC, the mobile versions of OneNote let you take your notes with you — from simple lists and to-dos to full-fledged notebooks which you can share with your friends, family, co-workers, or classmates. With a free Microsoft SkyDrive account, you can easily sync all of your OneNote notebooks so they’re always up-to-date and accessible from your mobile device, your Web browser, or your computer.”
OneNote has already been made available for Free on Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad and now its for Android. OneNote for Android is available in 57 markets worldwide. To use it, you will need a device running Android 2.3 or higher.
Some of the features of OneNote Mobile for Android include:
- Todo lists with clickable check boxes
- Image capture with your phone’s camera
- Multiple OneNote notebooks support
- Access anywhere by Syncing with Free SkyDrive
- Offline access to your notes
- Spell checker, Text formatting, bulleted lists
- Table editing
- Support for hyperlinks.
OneNote Mobile for Android is free to download and use for up to 500 notes. When you’ve reached this limit, you can upgrade the app for a one-time fee of US $4.99 for unlimited use. Else you can continue using the app, without upgrade – and you can still view, sync and delete existing notes but can’t edit or create new ones, says the OneNote Blog.
