According to Dell, it will shave $200 from the Oculus Rift’s price-tag if you purchase an Oculus Rift ready computer. At the moment, only two options are available, and they come in the form of the Alienware X51 and the Dell XPS 8900.
The Oculus Rift ready versions of these computers start at $1,199. The $200 discount comes into play when the consumer adds the Oculus Rift into the cart.
When all is said and done, consumers should pay $1,598 overall for both products rather than the heavy $1,798 if folks purchase both separately.
