Acer launches the Predator Series of Windows computers in India

Acer has been known for Acer for its strong presence in PC gaming. The Taiwanese company launched its new Predator series in Delhi, India. The newly launched series include notebooks, desktops, monitors, and projectors optimized for gaming.

Powered by 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, the new Predator gaming notebooks from ACER comes with super fast DDR4 memory, NVIDIA GeForce graphics, and PCIe solid state drives. A new technology named ‘Killer DoubleShot Pro’ lets the users use both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections together. ACER Predator 15 notebook boasts a full HD 15.6 display and Predator 17 comes with a full HD 17.3 display.

With a boxy and matt black exterior accented by a red lighting, the new ACER Predator notebooks look sporty. The symmetric lines and soft texture coating give you an extra grip. Overall, the new Acer Predator 15 and 17 notebooks look smart but a bit bland. These notebooks will be available in India in starting this month at an MRP of Rs 1, 79,000.

The Desktop range in the new Predator series includes Acer Predator G6 and G3 desktops. Powered by 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processors these desktop run on latest Windows 10 OS. Other impressive features of the PCs include 64GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory, NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 980 with UHD 4K2K (3840 x 2160) display, a 2TB mechanical disk and a 256GB SATA solid state unit, standard 5.25-inch optical drive, normal 3.5mm jacks and eight USB 3.0 ports (two in front and six on back), and two 2.0 ports, and typical HDMI, DVI, and Display Ports.

Both the Predator desktops from Acer come with a capability of keeping the system cool even at excess speeds with its IceTunnel cooling system.

Talked about design, the new G6, and G3 desktops come with a sturdy and subtle design with a red and black color scheme and a minimal use of LED lights. The Acer Predator series desktop PCs will be available in India from May with prices starting at Rs 12, 0000.

Other notable features of this new Acer monitor are -178-degree viewing angle, 2x7W speakers, DTS sound and a 100% of the sRGB color gamut support.
