AdSense In Your City goes international; evolves into Learn With Google For Publishers program

Some years ago, AdSense took up the initiative of starting a program, dubbed AdSense in your City. The program included members from the Google AdSense team who travelled to various cities to speak face-to-face with publishers and share tips with them on how to better monetize their blogs.

From Orlando, Florida to Tokyo, Japan, this group of experts visited over 100 cities around the world and talked to thousands of publishers.  It also asked publishers for their reviews as feedback. Based on the feedback, AdSense have incorporated some changes in its program.

Based on feedback received,  the program has evolved into ‘Learn with Google for Publishers’ program. Recognizing the fact that many use Google products beyond AdSense today, the transition to this Google-wide initiative was necessary to help publishers make the most from the Web.

As a result, Learn with Google for Publishers has now also gone international. It now goes beyond AdSense optimization tips! It aims to cover new topics such as site design, analytics and ad serving. The program had already posted its North America schedule earlier and promised to update us with its upcoming international schedule on Inside AdSense shortly thereafter.

Just a day ago, Learn with Google for Publishers announced schedule for its new international events in the next three months:

  1. Latin America
  2. Sao Paulo, Brazil – March 19, 2013
  3. Buenos Aires, Argentina – March 13, 2013
  4. Europe
  5. Bucharest, Romania – March 4, 2013
