The Apple TV app is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles on November 10, Microsoft has confirmed. As a result, Xbox users will be able to access Apple TV+ content including TV shows, movies, and more through Xbox consoles.
Apple TV coming to Xbox consoles
The Apple TV+ service hosts Apple Originals including premium TV shows, movies, and documentaries. Xbox users will be able to binge-watch TV shows like Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, See, Servant and Tehran.
“There’s so much more available on the Apple TV app. You can watch online, ad-free and on demand through the app,” Xbox said. “In addition, Family Sharing lets six family members share subscriptions to Apple TV channels using their personal Apple ID and password.”
Among the popular movies and documentaries on Apple TV+ are Greyhound and Beastie Boys Story. You can subscribe to Apple TV+ using the Apple TV app for Xbox. It will cost you $4.99 per month. Interestingly, it will also include a seven-day free trial.
New Xbox consoles arriving
Microsoft is set to launch new Xbox consoles on November 10. Microsoft is eyeing the transition from playing Xbox One games to streaming content on Xbox Series X and Series S.
In addition, Microsoft has also announced the arrival of entertainment apps like Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Spotify, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, NBC Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket and more.
All these apps will be available for Xbox Series X and Series S users on November 10.
“With our new consoles, immerse yourself with fuller colors, enhanced dynamic range, and spatial sound just as the filmmakers and creators intended on Xbox Series X|S with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which are supported on apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Vudu,” Xbox added.
Recently, Xbox launched the Microsoft Bing app. It allows Xbox users to search the web and discover trending content, among other things. It also provides users with the capability to search across their activities in and around the Xbox ecosystem.
