As a result, there was absolutely no clarity among users as to what all Windows 10 PCs and laptops are currently able to run Windows 10 2004.
Rather than resorting to guesswork, isn’t it better to know if your device is compatible before you run the update? Many users have complained that their Windows 10 devices are unable to run the update, possibly due to certain compatibility issues with either drivers or something else.

Meanwhile, Dell has also made similar arrangements to let users know what all devices are compatible with the Windows 10 2004 update. Similar to Lenovo, Dell has also listed its groups of products:
“This article designates Dell laptops and desktops that have been tested for update to Windows 10 May 2020 Update (Build 2004), as well as previous versions of Windows 10.”
Devices listed on this Dell support page are tried and tested with the Windows 10 2004 update.
In related news, Windows 10 2004 users are facing an issue where the external monitor stops working as soon as users try to draw using an Office app like Word and others. Microsoft is working on a fix.
