Visual Studio 2015 will ship with some notable functionality improvements this year. The team today has announced the Product Lineup for Visual Studio 2015 via a handy Microsoft graphic in their official blog post. As per the announcement, Visual Studio team will combine the Visual Studio Premium and Visual Studio Ultimate into one single product termed Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN.

The new offering will include the complete features of Visual Studio Ultimate as well as the new add-ons in Visual Studio 2015 edition. This change will supposedly make it for developers to select the edition of Visual Studio which best meets their needs.
In a nutshell, Visual Studio 2015 will come with three editions namely-
Visual Studio Community– This let the users accessing full-featured and extensible tool for free to build the non-enterprise applications. Users get access to an integrated development environment for building various applications and an ecosystem with thousands of extensions to choose.
Visual Studio Professional with MSDN– This edition comes with the professional developer tools for building various app, agile project planning tools, Team Rooms, charts and some powerful features like CodeLens to improve the team productivity. The subscription also core software for dev/test, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio Online Basic, $50/month in Azure credits, training and support.
Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN
Being the consolidation of Visual Studio Premium and Visual Studio Ultimate, Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN comes with advanced capabilities for large-scale teams projects.
Visual Studio Premium with MSDN subscribers will be automatically upgraded to Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN when we release Visual Studio 2015, and the pricing of Visual Studio Enterprise with MSDN will be significantly less than the current price of Visual Studio Ultimate with MSDN, says Microsoft.
