One of the most awaited Nokia Smartphones; Nokia Lumia 1020 is finally launched in India today. The Finnish mobile phone will hit the market shelves by October 11, this year. The new flagship Smartphone from Nokia will be available in three color variants: White, Black and Yellow. Although the price of the device is not yet revealed officially, it is said to be somewhere around $800 and expected to be around INR 48,000.
Two of its very important accessories are also out with their rates; the wireless charging Shell is marked with a price tag of 3,200 INR and the Nokia Camera Grip will be available at 7,500 INR.
Nokia unveiled its flagship device 1020 at an event in New York back in July 2013 with its complete specifications and features. Representing the best of Nokia’s camera technologies, Nokia Lumia 1020 engrosses a ‘PureView’ and massive 41-megapixel camera with xenon flash and optical image stabilization. Nokia’s custom imaging algorithms makes the device capable of compressing the data of 41-megapixel sensor into high quality 5-megapixel pictures.
The Finnish handset maker retains the uni-body polycarbonate build-up and the display size for its flagship device. Lumia 1020 comes with a 4.5 inch display which is almost same to its predecessors Lumia 920 and Lumia 925.
Best known for its camera features Nokia Lumia 1020 is able to achieve lossless zoom for both images and videos. The device can attain a 6X lossless zoom for a camcorder at 720p (4x zoom while shooting at 1080p) and 3x lossless zoom for images. With the optical image stabilization and 6-element lens of Lumia 1020 you can shoot shake free videos and click the crystal clear images without any motion blur.

However, the device contains a good enough internal memory, but it lacks the microSD card. Nokia Lumia 1020 runs on Windows Phone Amber update and features some useful software like Nokia Mix radio, Nokia Smart Camera, Here Maps Suite, Nokia Music and Nokia Rich Recording. The company offers free 2GB of 3G data to Vodafone customers for two months.
The new flagship Nokia Smartphone is not the slimmest Smartphone, but is quite handy at 154 grams weight which is much lesser than Lumia 920 which weighs 185 grams.
Nokia Lumia 1020 will be launched in the Indian market on October 11, 2013.
