Not so long ago in the past, a Japanese company known as NuAns, showcased its first Windows 10 Mobile device known as the NuAns Neo. The handset has a unique design, one that reminds us of the good ole days of Nokia and its Lumia smartphones.
NuAns at the time decided to get some kickstarter funding for the NuAns Neo, but unfortunately, things did not go as according to plan. The project required $725,000 to move forward, but at the end of the campaign, NuAns only managed to $142,368 from 489 backers. Being a Windows 10 Mobile device was probably the reason it failed, but still sad to see, regardless.
We are NuAns. In trying to provide new answers to the various problems with smartphones today, we designed NuAns NEO; a powerful, convenient, and stylish smartphone supporting the Windows 10 Mobile. Breaking through the glass ceiling of stereotypes that is a Windows phone, we have designed a device that will change your view of the Windows OS system all together. Let us show you.
This device was quite interesting because it gives the user the choice to customize the outer shell. Now, this isn’t the first time a company has done this, and certainly won’t be the last. However, we liked the way NuAns did theirs, and it was something we wanted to see out on the market.
If there was one problem we saw, the device was underpowered, but at the end of the day, it supported Continuum, so that was a step in the right direction. Hopefully, the company finds a way to bring this device to the market because we’ll definitely pick it up.
