Microsoft released Windows 10 v1809 earlier this month. But it had to pull it down due to some reasons. It again recent re-released this October 2018 Update – but it has bugs too. One of them about Mapped drives, not working has a workaround. But there are a few other bugs too. These bugs will not lead to your computer data being deleted but will affect a small subset of users who rely on specific hardware or software that are incompatible.
Windows 10 v1809 – Upgrade block in place
Microsoft talks about several scenarios. It comes under the remark of Upgrade block in place. They are-

Incompatibility with Trend Micro’s Officescan & Worry-Free Business Security software
Those users who are running business solution software from Trend Micro, Windows 10 v1809 will not be rolled out to them. And if the user has already upgraded to the new update using any ISO or by using any other method, the software mentioned above would not work.

You can learn more about the status and the timeline of this Critical Patch on trendmicro.com.
Error on machines with Radeon HD 2000 & HD 4000 Graphics Processing Unit
Another issue that is expected to occur is with the devices equipped with AMD’s Radeon 2000 and Radeon 4000. It is worth noting that AMD has permanently discontinued the Radeon HD 2000 and HD 4000 GPUs. The feature update is also blocked on these devices because an error will occur or Microsoft Edge might just stop working:
INVALID_POINTER_READ_c0000005_atidxx64.dll
Some users are therefore expected to experience some performance issues as well. This is with the Lock Screen or the ShellExperienceHost.
