Bing gets a desktop voice search
All you need to do is use voice to ask questions and get a quick but appropriate response from Bing. Bing Voice Search option is also available on the Bing app for Android and iOS. Hence, interested mobile users can download Bing from respective app stores and experience Bing’s voice search capabilities.
To our surprise, Bing Voice Search is still not available for those trying to access the Bing site using mobile browsers. Edge for Android users and users of other mobile browsers will want to know when Bing Voice Search will come to mobile web browsers.

How to perform Bing Voice Search on desktop
Are you looking to experience Bing’s voice search capabilities on your desktop? In that case, all you need to do open your desktop web browser and enter the Bing website URL in your browser’s address bar. Although it isn’t mandatory, it’s a good practice to keep your browser up-to-date.
Hence, before you begin with Bing Voice Search on desktop, make sure to update your web browser to the latest version. We tried Bing Voice Search on Chromium Edge. Irrespective of the web browser application, you will be able to experience Bing’s voice search capabilities on your desktop.
Hence, even if you have any other modern web browser applications such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari you will still be able to use the voice search option on the Bing desktop website.
Once you are on the Bing homepage, you will notice a new microphone icon in the search bar. All you need to do is click on that microphone icon. As soon as you try to activate Bing Voice Search, you will be asked to grant your web browser permission to access your microphone.
Granting your desktop browser access to your laptop or computer’s microphone is essential. During our initial use, we found the Bing voice search a little slower than Google’s.
In related news, Bing is eventually being rebranded as Microsoft Bing.
