As per the blogpost on official Skype blog, this integrated Skype chat feature will let the users make changes or review the document with other authors online on Skype. The chat will now be available right next to the Office document.
This integrated Skype chat feature will certainly bring help to the users to discuss upon the documents and PowerPoint presentations with their team in real time. Group chats with the colleagues will make the collaboration easy in the offices. Furthermore, it also saves the messages offline which get delivered once the user is online.
Just log in to your Microsoft account and link it to your Skype account and you can use the new integrated Skype chat right from your Office document or PowerPoint.
